摘要：Mazur's sphere theorem shows that the unit spheres of $L_p$-spaces, $1\leq p<\infty$, are H\"{o}lder homeomorphic to the unit sphere of a Hilbert space with explicit H\"{o}lder estimates. In this talk, we introduce some related applications of the theorem in the nonlinear geometry of Banach spaces, coarse geometry and theoretical computer science. This is joint work with Bo Xiang.
报告人介绍：程庆进，厦门大学数学科学学院教授，博士生导师。近期主要研究Banach空间球面结构理论及其应用。主持多项国家自然科学面上基金，并参加一项国家自然科学重点基金。在J. Convex Anal.、J. Funct. Anal.、Studia Math.、Sci. China Ser. A等国际期刊上发表SCI学术论文20多篇。
